The Spiritual Big Bang Theory (according to Hindu)

The Big Question

Since ever, both religious people and atheists have asked a major question in their own ways. HOW DID GOD START HIS CAREER...as...you know...god? Did he "Ta da!" and come to existence, or did he just decide one day to create because he felt lonely? Well, Hindu spirituality has an answer...and it's totally in proportion with the science we seek for, today. Check out..

The Root Donor

The lore goes this way. Before everything, there was nothing, but something. That something was a deep bluish form of energy, with conciousness. In spiritual world, Energy with conciousness is called, SOUL. This soul was shapeless, odourless, genderless, timeless, and boundless. But it just was, all over. This is what Hindu Spiritualism calls, "Bhagawan".

Two Halves

Mula Datta, otherwise the root donor, then split into two. First half was highly stable form of energy. This was called "Sthanu Shakthi". This is nothing, but Shiva. "Sheva" means, a thing that cannot move - a corpse. "Shiva" means, a thing that can never be moved - "The stable energy". The second half was called "Renu Shakthi". It constantly vibrated, and was highly "Radio active" kind of energy. This is nothing but Vishnu. "Vish" or "Vishw" means, everything & everywhere. "Vishnu" means the energy that is in everything and goes everywhere.

The Stability Theory

Thus the highly stable energy, and the highly unstable energy were always in friction. They would collapse back into Mula Datta, re-spring to two different forms of energies, and collapse again. That is when "Vishnu", the energy that goes everywhere, thought of creation. It flew as a liquid, and was called "Brahma". A child gets life from her mother, through a cord that connects her belly button to the mother's. And a lotus, is symbolism of conciousness. Keeping these in mind, Brahma is often depicted to be sitting on a lotus sprung from Vishnu's belly button...!

The stability theory - 2

Now, this "thought" got personified, and was an energy with no attributes. Neither was it highly stable. Nor was it radio active. It just was. This, now, created balance between "Sthanu Shakthi", and "Renu Shakthi". Thusly, Vishnu has "Avataars", while Shiva doesn't, being the stable form of energy. He can have representatives of his energy, but he cannot incarnate. Vishnu cannot, stay in one form/position for a long time. He has to keep changing.

The End

Thus, Anu, an atom, or even the entire creation, has three main "paramanus" - one stable (proton), one unstable (electron), and one neutral (neutron). Additionally, there are thirty three crores (330 million) forms of energies, supporting these three forms of energies to remain stable. This brings in, the 330 million additional gods to Hindu spirituality! They are "Maha Anu" and hence, as a note of thanks, we call them "Devas". This is how "Bhagwan" is different from "Deva".

The end - 2

Brahma, the neutral energy, collapses once in his 100 years. That is when these two main energies lose balance, and turn into Mula Datta. Vedas say, it is the first Brahma ever. He has completed 50 years already. Currently, it is 1st morning of his 1st day on his 51st year...and there is a lot of time quantum like Kalpa, manvantara, Yuga etc. But you might know, we are in Kaliyug in 28th yuga cycle of this "Manvantra". Phew. Although, everytime Yuga changes, a small disturbance between the energies occur, and there is a mild destruction in the creation.

Decoding Vedas

All these scientific factors were already told in mantras you probably (hopefully) listen to everyday. Just in "Purusha Suktha" few lines read "Athyadhishta dasaangulam. Purusha ye vedagummMM. Yath Bhootham Yath BhavyammMM...". "He is everywhere, yet he can be as small as ten ANGULAs. i.e., this renu shakthi is spread as long as everywhere, but is present even at an atomic level! This Energy is Veda (science) This is past, and future (now that it is present)..." Of course, this is about Vishnu.

Decoding Vedas - 2

In Shri Rudra Namakam, you hear "NamooOO Jyeshtacha Kanishtayacha"... "This Sthanu shekthi is the largest energy even at a level so small (atomic)." Of course, this is about shiva. You cannot move it, if you try to do, there is destruction only. "Mrutyave Swaha Mrutyavee SwahaaAA" It is to be noted that he is the one who ends creation - may it be a single life, or may it be the entire universe, this stable energy alone has the right to take what is given (life)! In the end, this energy is the one that disintegrates Brahma "The stable energy" and ends creation, for new, better one to raise.

In my opinion this theory is a very accurate representation of the nature of the universe. Excellent post, thank you for sharing :)

Hi. I am uncertain of the accuracy, but somehow it does feels right. I would like to explore further into the Hinduism belief. I am born a Muslim, but i have always believe all religion are the same. But when i comes to the origins of all of us and what not, the Hindu teachings somehow makes more sense. Thank you for your comment.
