RE: What is the single most effective piece of financial advice you have ever received?

in #life3 years ago

The most helpful financial advice I've received is this: don't withdraw money from an account that I put in for dividends. No matter how hard it is for you, no matter how badly you need to buy a new trinket or a new phone, you must retain all your self-control and will to keep your bank account untouched. Your dividends are a safety cushion in emergencies, not a gimmicky income for gadgets. Hensoncrisp.com has informed me a lot about accumulating finances. Many of the talking points my advisor brought out that I didn't understand before. Thanks for your post. It was helpful too.
