LIFE: Fair or Unfair?

Many people are asking, is life fair or unfair?

I remember my childhood days when my father who easily gets mad is looking for something but he can’t find it. As a good son, I helped him looking for it but in the end it felt like the blame is on me why it is nowhere to be found and my brother who didn’t helped looking got nothing. So I said to myself, that isn’t fair.

LIFE: is not a competition.

Not all good acts results to good things and not all bad things result to bad things. Sometimes or most of the times it is the wicked who always gets the favor and the righteous mostly gets the consequences, then that is unfair probably. There are times the righteous gets the good things and the wicked gets the consequences and that is seemed to be fair.
It is not always the wise gets better job, better salary and better opportunity, not the strong always won the battle and not who are fast always get first.

LIFE: is about time and chance

When wise doesn’t get the better opportunity or job and those who are easily go lucky gets the favor of fate, is it a good thing not to strive in life? When the strong loses the battle to a wimp and the speedy flash got left behind by the slow, is it good not to prepare?

Time:

Every one of us is given the same amount of time in a day, same amount of days in a week. No one gets more than 24hrs of their day or 8 days of their weeks. Each hour is an opportunity to make our self better, to make good decisions and to decide what to do with our day. There are wise people but they don’t do anything about their day, and those who are not, they work really hard to achieve what they want with their life. It always depends on how you make use of your time.
With or without resources, anyone could be better than the other if they use their time properly within their means. Though, the other need to work hard and the other didn’t need to. But life will always reap what you plant with your time. It is like a plan, if time is the soil and the plant is our dream and the hard work is the nutrients of the plant. If the hard work is not enough then you wouldn’t get a good fruit but if the hard work is more than enough you will have more than enough that you can share it to others. A plant grows as time goes.

Chance:

Though we’re given same hours in a day and days in a week and week in a month. Some people don’t get the chance to live life longer. If sometimes unwise gets the better job, good salary and the wise didn’t. If sometimes the wimp wins over the strong and the slow over the fast. The question is, are you ready when that chance come? Do you have what it takes to seize the moment? What if the unwise is ask to be wise to get the chance and the wimp is asked to be strong to win and the slow needs to be fast to get first, are you ready to take the chance? Obviously, it will be the moment for those who fit for the chance.
Each of us are given unique chance each day, and if quick and observant enough then those who grab the chance will enhance their life and their character.

So is life: fair or unfair.

I remember the story of a dad who had two sons. The other son sees the bad side of the things and the other one sees the good side of the things. The dad had an idea to give each son a present to test how they would respond. So the dad gave a room full of toys to the son who always thinks negative and the optimistic son was given a room full of horse’ poops. When the dad visited the pessimistic son, the son complains that how is he going to take care of all the toys and what if his friends will borrow it and it will be broken then it will going to be a big problem. So the pessimistic son wasn’t happy. Then dad visited the optimistic son, he found him swimming, digging, jumping and diving at the horse’ poop. Then the dad was confused. He ask the son why he is happy? The son answered “This is a lot of horse’ poop dad! It is impossible that there not even a pony here”.

I would say it isn’t that life is fair or unfair lest it is in the mind of the person who upholds the question.
If you are on a winning situation, then you would probably say life is just fair, but when you are on the losing side then life would be unfair. Even if you will look at the environment, when you try to compare yourself to others then others will be better than you or less than you. Our idea of fairness of life seemed to be selfish somehow or self judged but if we look in a different side, it ends up on our broken idea of fairness.

Each of us are given time and chance but not all of us think the same way.
