RE: Introduction to the US Prison Problem and Possible Resolutions through Anthropology, Mental Health Facilities, and Education

in #life8 years ago

Thanks for your comments. I am personally glad that people have been insightful in other discussions about this and talking about some of the roots of the issue. There is a large voice growing in politics that fights against the greed of tyrannical institutions that herd the population for profit.

Sort:

They own the most powerfull book on earth: the book of law.
They hire goons to protect it and to make sure it is tuned to bring in money, not justice.
Lawyers rule the world to satisfy their greed for power and $

big Mercedez and big tittez...thats why

instead of doing time in a hell hole where they become worst...they should have the choice between either:

  1. More time in jail (much more, optional incentive to chose 2)
    OR
  2. Loving, caring, sharing, learning, helping, crying, feeling, healing, expressing, correcting, educating, hugging themselves out of captivity.

It's supposed to be a correctional system but there is no actual correcting going on..There used to be programs to reform inmates but that was just a cash cow so they cut the programs.

State arrests citizens
Feds pay the state
states cash in
Result:
1-conflict of interest
2-society loses a citizen (so that is 2 loses)

I really hope with all my heart something gets done.
I am from canada and went to live in cali for 3 years
I saw everything, its disgusting, still to this day 4 years later it pains me to think about all the victims in the US prison system(I had a DUI in cali, they tried to get me hit, hacked my car, etc)

The justice system is actually the one responsible for american task force not being educated enough to fill in the vacant high paying high tech positions. Why would I say this? cuz its during my short troubles with the justice system in cali that things contrasted with my Canadian upbringing and society (they are actually what made me realize canada is the best country in the world for human rights)

Then, I also realized I would never of become an electrical engineer if I had been born and raised there...the system would of arrested, corrupted and broken me...here in canada if a cop sees you with a joint...well it never happens...and DUIs are for drinking only..quebec has the best cops in north america and tops in international i'm sure.

My prayers are with you, God bless Americans.

(mining for robots will save us ;)

omg you hit it on the nail...all my troubles wouldn't of happened if I could of had the ADHD medicin I was desperately asking for...touché
