Witnessing a loved one get Baptized is a very special moment in a religious journey

Hello steemian @june21neneng here is back. May 20, 2018 the day our bundle of joy got baptized. For me Baptism signifies that an indivdual is choosing to accept Jesus as their savior and the beginning of their relationship with Christ.

WHAT IS BAPTISM AS A CHRISTIAN?

BAPTISM- ( in the christian church) The religious rite of sprinkling water onto a person's forehead or immersion in water, symbolizing purification of regeneration and admission of christian church. In many denomination, Baptism is performed on young children and is accompanied by name-giving

In order to understand the reason for being water baptized. It is important to carefully consider what the bible says about it. Jesus himself was baptized, He was not a sinner. Yet he humboed himself in obedience to identify with us and give us an example to follow.

At time when Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan.The moment he came out of the water, he saw the sky split open and God's Spirit, looking like a dove, come down on him. Along with the spirit, A voice: " you are my son, chosen and marked by my love, pride of my life". Mark 1:9

Our little bundle of joy was named Niño Keander. After church ceremony as part of welcoming him in the christian world, we gathered in one place sharing some foods to eat with his Godparents

and family members..
