Community time
Last Sunday, when I was strolling around the streets of my neighborhood, I have heard nice and not too absorbing music from the loudspeakers. I decided to find out what was going on. I found a lot of people, older and children watching people, again, all ages, dancing in circles. The music was played live by the band. The were snacks and a lot of laughter involved. ;) I enjoyed a lot the atmosphere. And those traditional dances as well. 💛💛
Dimanche dernier, alors que je flânais dans les rues de mon quartier, j'ai entendu de la musique agréable et pas trop absorbante des haut-parleurs. J'ai décidé de découvrir ce qui se passait. J'ai trouvé beaucoup de gens, des plus âgés et des enfants qui regardaient les autres, encore une fois, de tous les âges, dansant en rond. La musique a été jouée en direct par le groupe. Des casse-croûte et beaucoup de rires étaient impliqués. ;) J'ai beaucoup aimé l'atmosphère. Et ces danses traditionnelles aussi. 💛 💛

That's amazing! I bet everyone enjoys that, especially on a sunny day! I think it's great how every country has their own little traditions or dancing styles & that's what I like the most about travelling - wherever you go, you'll always see something new :)

What was the reason of this celebration and how come you didn't know about it earlier. I love this kind of dancing. Did it as I was younger.
