I started to use steemit/busy a week or so ago, giving me some ideas and a sense of the community. Of course, there could be mistakes. There could also be factors in the future that bring changes to the community, thus the community becoming something else entirely.

I will only talk about now.

Type of Platform

To understand the community, first, we have to look at the platform. The platform gives us an idea of what attracts us to it.

Here are some things that we know about it:

• It's a blogging and social networking website
• It's on a Blockchain
• You are rewarded with money
• and whatever else I missed

The main thing I want to hit on is that it's on a blockchain. Blockchain is something new, I mean very very new. You go out and ask people about blockchain and bitcoin, you'll be amazed at how most people don't even know of it's existence. Sure they might've heard something about it in the news or something but, nothing past that.

Now that we have that in mind, let's move to the next thing that plays an important role to conclude what type of people we are.

Type of things valued

What do we value in the community, what does that mean? How do we figure it out? That easy! go here and sort by Payouts or be efficient and look at the picture below.

Let's take the top 5 tags #life #steemit #photography #blog #steem. We discussed 2 of the 5 tags before, under the topic of Blockchain. Most of the posts in #steemit #steem surround the theme of blockchain or the currency on it (steem).

Now I want you to look at the other three, #life #photography #blog. The posts in these tags are filled with pictures of scenic views, mountains, nature, new cities, and you get the picture (pun intended).

Now that we have our ingredients, let's make the magic happen.

The Result

We are open-minded to opportunities, innovation, and forward-looking while being appreciative of what we have. We look forward to what tech could bring us while making sure to preserve the beauty that's already placed in the world. We are adventurous! thus we are exploring the edges of technology to find a new limit. We are taking a step at a time to a better future!
