More rain, spent the day watching hubby's new fish 🐠🐟Another boring day 😴

in #life4 years ago (edited)

Another cold wet day, the sun hasn't popped his head out at all today, the rain did stop for a little time giving me time to go check on how my garden is, there's no change in my garden or green house, just as well it started to rain again sending me back in doors. I have a list of things i need to do whilst the weather is bad.

1 Research Hyacinth Bulbs
2 Take Flower Photographs for Journal
3 Up date garden journal
4 Sort Seeds Collection
5 Prepare what's next to grow

We have just watched the weather forecast, we are expecting a lot more rain and Thunder, seems this year is going to a wash out like last year. Hubby has to take the car for its MOT, thankfully the garage we go to is just around the corner. Fingers crossed its passes without costing me a fortune.

Moving on.

Hubby has been ordering more fish for his large fish tank, he has ordered them online, they were supposed to be delivered next Thursday, they emailed to let hubby know if they can get them out quicker they will. Hubby's very happy as he will be at work next week. He ordered:

Asian Red Tailed Cat Fish
Blood Red Parrot Fish
Jaquar Cyclet
Clown Pleck

They have all settles in OK, well we think they have as we haven't seen the Clown Pleck as it headed straight for a hiding place. We also have a Orange Parrot Fish that has been with us for a while, he has grown quite a bit so think the tank is his, he keeps chasing the Blood Red Parrot Fish, Thankfully they do't have teeth but they can keep chasing them. Hubby has had to put the Orange Parrot Fish into a netted cage hopefully he will stop.

The Catfish has really long whiskers, he has found a hiding place straight away, i managed to get a photo of him in his hiding place, he does nip out but far to fast to catch on camera/

He is quite big, those whiskers are all over the place probably trying to find something to eat.

The Jaguar Fish should really be called a Zebra Fish due to there markings.

There is around 50 fish in the tank, its very busy now. With adding new fish to the tank we find its best to feed them then turn the light off so they hopefully calm down and by the time we turn the light back on they should all be getting along better.

Once the fish were sorted hubby had to go pick the car up and pay the bill, there was one light that needed fixing so only cost me £55, that's done for another year. I haven't done very much today with the weather being bad. I am going to go in the shower then do the 1st task on my list Research Hyacinth Bulbs then add the information the my Journal, i will add the photo's tomorrow.
