Is Your Life Song on Replay?

Let's be honest. There are lots of things that are on or crosses our minds that we do not dare to say. Afraid of the consequences these words may have. E.g. thoughts related to your husband or wife such as: "Can't you shut your mouth for one minute"? or "Can't you just dissapear for only one day"?. What about the thoughts that enter your mind when you must listen to a nagging person or have to deal with a spoilt child/adult. All these thoughts and wishes we have classified as a forbidden zone with a huge sign password required or only authorized persons.

We all have those moments, some people more than others, where you wished for things to be different. But due to the choices you made and the responsibility that comes with these, you have NO CHOICE then to accept. Right??

#@$%#!!! It is like a song that is on repeat...over and over again. You know the words and the melody by heart. Every pause, every beat and every word. Sounds like a very popular song that has hit the top 3 in the Billboard Top 100! Teenagers (the fans) would know all the details of the singer ( their whereabouts, middle name, marital status, children, tour program, etc.) and would not even bother to find out who the songwriter is.

We all created our own song called life and some of us unconsciously put it on repeat. Those people who did, can relate to the following: you wake up, wake up the children, wash and dress up, dress up the children, make the sandwiches, (double) check if the kids have all the school books, drop the kids at school, drive to work, say the hi and a bit later the byes, .......till you drop tired, exhausted in bed at night and in ten minutes it's light out. Next day: replay.

When we started with creating our life song we were all excited and spend most of our time shaping it. Why did some of us stick to only one song? Why didn't we create more songs with the same energy as we had put into the first one? Are you aware that the CD containing that single song may get damaged one day beyond repair?

Since we created our own life song, we are the songwriters. Everyone we have involved in our life are our fans. Some fans become co-writers of our song as they help to shape our lives and add value. But some remain just fans....they just enjoy all benefits you have to offer, adding little value.

One has to realize that you bring more joy, happiness and self-satisfaction to your life by creating more songs in different rhythms. Attract more true friends who will become you're co-writers and have a few fans along the way as they contribute to the lessons we need to learn in life.

Stop your song if you accidentally pushed the repeat/replay button. Go out and dare to do different things, be creative and do the things you always wanted to realize....your dreams. Involve the people closest to you and make them part of your dream....you will be surprised if you unknowingly make their dream come true as well. In this way you can increase the quality of your life and that of others.
