Hmmm, I'm of two minds about dogs.
Nice dogs with good manners, I like.
Big boisterous dogs that bowl people over in their exuberance, not so much.
And it seems your beach hounds fall into the latter category, so I'll go to other beaches if I'm ever in the area.
Nevertheless... a fun piece, which I've upvoted, Kate.

Better never come to my house. I'm not a disciplinarian at all. And my dogs are very exuberant - which is exactly how I love them to be.

Thanks, cheetah. Appreciate the upvote.

Wow. These are some fantastic dogs. A combination of breeds you say?
How does happen exactly?
They just sound like a joll to be around. Happy friendly dogs just brighten up my day.
I doubt that their owners know their value. If they did they wouldn't let the dogs out of their site.
I can imagine going to the beach and seeing a bunch of cuties running around.
I'd be upset if they stole my belongings though, especially my food. I love food.
Lol. If they were smart dogs they would be able to read those signs and know that they trespassing. But then again they could just be rebels!

I just love their care free nature. You really envy such in life hey.

Yes, I think I'd enjoy that kind of freedom - if I were a dog.

Dogs sleep for an average of 10 hours per day.

My dogs sleep more like 20 hours each day.

I had never heard of surf hounds but they sound annoying. I mean, if they just played along the edge of the water and kept away from people, it might not be too bad but I don't like the idea of them coming up to my spot on the beach and licking my face.

Surf hounds - that's just a name I made up. Yes, I'm sure some people find them annoying. Not me, though. I just want to be one.

Well, I can see how exciting and fun being a surf dog would be... for the dogs. BUT I don't think they'd add a lot to my experience at the beach if they came too close. Watching from afar, sure. Up close, nah, just stay away!

Surf hounds are definitely not liked by cat people. But you're right, watching them from a distance is really fun.
