Wow. I am tearing up at how much courage it took for them. It's these little steps that slowly dissolve prejudice, but gotdamn it takes an eternity. 100% agree, people couldn't handle an alien species- we have hundreds of thousands of species alien to us here and we wage war on them, not to mention the myopia we have for our own species.
