RE: Your body is the shell for your soul.

in #life7 years ago

Perhaps it's in penance for things that happened in the past. From what I'm starting to remember, our souls are recycled. Overcome this by falling love with yourself at all costs. Love what you have, from every- wart, stretch mark, mole, birthmark, and fat rolls. Accepting your body is crucial to your relationships and the energy that you give off. Love yourself or your won't be able to share the most powerful magic on the planet- your love.

I'm not debating this just for the pleasure of arguing; I honestly believe you are both wrong and right.

Loving ourselves should include the negative aspects, but it does not mean we should accept them without also trying to improve. For instance, the 'fat roll' you mentioned, it is a health risk. If you love yourself and your life, then you should strive to have the healthiest body possible, so that you experience it to the full, before moving on to the next life.

If you have, for example, a huge beak of a nose and it happens you do not find such noses attractive, convincing yourself you love yourself as you are would not be honest. If you cannot do anything about it, you accept it as a feature of this life, but if you can afford to have it re-sculpted, it would be silly to make yourself suffer for the rest of your life (remember, it will grow bigger as you age).

I would say that those who are mature and love the person, it is easier for even them to love the fat roll or the beaked nose or other disproportionate parts of a loved one, than it is to love it in ourselves.
