Pneumonia: Why the night King is powerful during winter

WINTER IS HERE ! THE NIGHT KING COMES

Approaching from the wilderness with his terrifying army is the king of winter, I call him king pneumonia. King pneumonia is the lord of winter, known to all souls that roam the globe.
The horrifying tale of king pneumonia was first told by a legend- Hippocrates at about 460-370BC.

"peripneumonia, and pleuritic affections, are to be thus observed; if the fever be acute, and if there be pains On either side, or in both, and if expiration be if cough be present, and the sputa expectorated be of a blond or livid color, or likewise thin, Frothy, and frothy, and florid, or having any other character different from the common... Pneumonia is indeed an ancient king, notably referred to as the "named by the ancients" by Hippocrates himself. King pneumonia’s powers are amplified when the winds grow in power, raindrops morph to white dust covering the land like a thick blanket.

King Pneumonia: The Dark Sorcerer

With his dark magic the king cast his spell on over 400 million people on the earth, destroying about 1% of them annually.

The night king has many names, ‘the captain of the men of death’, ‘old man’s friend’, kingdoms shall rise and fall and I would not exhaust the names of the night king. The night king still lives, men have fought him and his invisible army for millenniums yet he prevails. You know you have fallen to the majesty of the night king when;

Every breathe makes you cough out your soul
You feel the pain of a thousand needles trapped in your chest
You dance to the songs of fever,
His sight drains your chi [energy] making you weak
He steals your breathe choking you to death
You spit out your food like a cobra
Your skin colour mimics the blue ocean

Where is this king?

Some say he lives in the wind; the breeze that feeds the flames, wrestles the oceans and bring down trees but they have-all of them been deceived. The night king has formed alliance with microscopic creatures.

He lives in his army, he is his army, and they are in him and him in them.
Different life forms have chosen to serve the night king. Know ye the names of the traitors to life and all those who provide them shelter shall know death. Beware oh beware of the air spirits, water spirits and demons of the earth.

I saw through the veils of the future and heard men whisper in fear the names of the night kings army, some may call them:

Viruses: rhinovirus, influenza virus, coronaviruses
Bacteria: Streptococcus pnuemoniae, Mycoplasma Pneumonia,
Fungi and other creatures such as Plasmodium, Ascaris, Toxoplasma,
He sends his minions to infiltrate your lungs, blocking your lungs from taking chi [oxygen] from the element of air to the blood.

In the future: What we know about pneumonia (Year 2019)

Unlike our ancestors, we have faced this chronic challenge head-on. Scientist have put in a lot of effort to understand everything there is to know about pneumonia. We now know for a fact that pneumonia isn’t caused by low temperatures but by parasites that thrive during seasons with low temperatures.

Pneumonia is relatively common during winter or cold seasons. People have come to believe that the low temperature is responsible for the ailment.

This is quite the contrary, pneumonia is triggered by a plethora of micro organism already listed above which include a variety of bacteria, viruses and endo-parasite.

If pneumonia is caused by parasites, then we must ask the question: What is pneumonias relationship with low temperature, are they in bed together?

The most prevalent cause of pneumonia during winter periods is the influenza virus. Conclusions on the correlation between influenza and pneumonia have not been made.

However, several studies suggest that there is to some extent a relationship between the rate of infection, rate of transmission of the virus to the virulence of the disease.

Studies also suggest that cold and dry periods may have something to do with enhancing transmission and survival of the respiratory pathogens. Pneumonia (influenza caused) is recorded to have an elevated rate of mortality during cold and dry days.

Several theories have been proposed to explain the correlation between the proliferation of influenza and temperatures. Some have suggested that the low levels of vitamin D and melatonin, behavioral changes viz; school attendance, indoor crowding as a result of low temperatures, relatively humidity.

In conclusion, this post creates awareness and does not aim to dive into details about the mechanism of infection and transmission of pneumonia. However, it is clearer than ever that pneumonia would be rampant when environmental and physiological conditions are favorable For proliferation of the causative agents or pathogens.
