How to find your passion
Your addiction is exactly the reason that you wake up in the morning, and just thinking about it can keep you all day in a state of excitement. Also addiction can be a more relaxed sense of satisfaction, the realization that you live by your own rules. But not everyone immediately realizes what his / her addiction is. Do not worry - whether you are looking for a passion for starting a new career or in order to go into a new hobby or activity, there are several things by which you can find it.
Brainstorm
Think about what motivates your decisions. Many people end up listening too much to their "social self," that part of your personality that wants to be well thought of by others, and therefore always follows the rules. Although it is perfectly normal - the desire to be part of a larger society, but if you base all decisions on what others think is right, you will most likely ever feel that you have missed your goal.
This can happen at any time in your life, but you can be especially nervous at a young age, as you will have to obey your parents or other authoritative people.
Stop coercion. This expression came from psychologist Clayton Burboy, who expressed the idea to describe how external pressure can shape your thinking so that you do "as rightly as possible." This can make you unhappy with your choice, because your actions will come from feelings of guilt and fear, and not from your own choice. Try to think about what exactly you want to do, and not what you "should" do only because someone has told you this.
Find out what values you have. Your values are what are the basic beliefs in your life. They can be religious or spiritual, but they can also reflect your personality and what most brings you joy. Studies have shown that if you do not live in accordance with your values, then you feel unhappy, and you have no motivation.
Ask yourself questions to explore yourself. Many people have never thought what is valuable for them. Take time for yourself and ask yourself a question about what makes you feel "right", and what causes the opposite feeling.
Remember those moments when you felt like the happiest person. What did you do then? Who were you with? Why do you think that this event or situation caused a sense of happiness in you? What can you do to make this sensation come to other areas of your life.
If only one thing could be changed in the family / society / work / district / world, then what would it be and why?
Think about what you like to do. Look at your life and think about whether you are already doing what you like, albeit infrequently. Thinking about what you really love to do, and by directing it in such a productive way that it becomes an addiction, you can explore the desires of your heart.
Think about what you always dreamed of doing. It's different from making a list of all the things that make you happy. Now you have to write down all the things that you always wanted to do, but could not because of lack of time, money or simply because it is impractical or even a little scary.
Decide what is most important to you. Life consists of compromises. You do not have the strength and time to do everything. Set your priorities. If you find out what exactly is most valuable to you, then it will protect you from disappointment that you can not do everything that is in itself impossible
