Living your dream.

What is it that makes you get up in the morning?

Why bother reading this? Because it will give you kickass advice.

Promise: Increased awesomeness in your life.

Live your own dream at your own pace. - Evan Handler (Charlie Runkle - Californication)

What does that mean to you?
What defines your dream, your ultimate happiness?

This is worth spending time on, and not just a week or a month but your whole lifetime.
Why would you live if you aren’t happy?
If there isn’t something that you haven’t found living for you better have a reality check with yourself. Because if you are not working on living towards your dream then what’s the point.
I do understand the importance about living in the moment and reflecting on what you already have, but you’d better have a plan for yourself on how to make your unique personal dream a reality.

We all get caught up in the rush of life, and the pressure to make more than reasonable progress in measurable time. And there is no one to blame for it, because that is just the world we live in. The only to blame for feeling that kind of pressure is yourself because, somewhere along the way you adopted that rush and pressure as a truth for yourself.

One of my favourite actors has put so well into words, that I can’t possibly think of a more brief way of putting it.
Live your own dream at your own pace. - Evan Handler - (Charlie Runkle - Californication)
I hope this will make you feel better about your own dream and your own pace.

Your live is yours and only yours. This does not mean you can just be egocentric and selfish about it but as long as you don’t make your own plan, chances are excellent you will fall in somebody else their plan.
This is all right as long as you like where you are going.

Living and working towards your dream will involve sacrifice. Sacrificing some things which are probably a lot of fun, but are in the way of your dream. You gotta ask yourself how much sacrifice your dream is worth.
Another great mentor in my life put it this way:

Progress equals happiness - Anthony Robbins -

What I suggest is to take a good look at yourself in the mirror, and I really mean mirror. Not just as a metaphor.
And tell yourself your dream. Will you feel stupid and uncomfortable? Only if you allow yourself to feel stupid and uncomfortable. Write it down on black and white and begin.

Some will, some won’t.

Will.
