Gardeners Unite!

Alright my steemit friends I need your advice! The picture above is my garden, a work in progress but with the nicer weather the past few days in Michigan I was eager to start!

I'm fairly new to gardening and want your advice, what are the best plants to put in pots? I know I could do flowers but I'm feeling adventurous! I have a max of 6 pots to fill. I would love to plant something that will come back every year, a little less work for me and I'd be okay spending more on the plants I get knowing they will last more than one season.

Also what is your favorite vegetable to grow and why? I plan on growing cherry tomatoes and cucumbers but I want to expand my vegetable garden. Any and all advice is welcomed and wanted :)

Tomatos make great plants for a container garden, aswell as celery they will both grow almost anywhere and in next to no light, Im growing tomatos and celery indoors in winter here in saskatchewan canada where sometime we get 80% plus cloud cover for weeks on end in winter. I have gave you upvote and followed you, come check out my blog, maybe youll like it enough to follow and leave a vote yourself... im new here as of today , so far i have shown how to clone tomatos after youve selected your best plant and plan to post alot more gardening tips

Hey Lauren, I also do gardening, will post more about it latter. (just starting wity steemit). I have big garden, and biggest part of it is potatoes. Theyre quiet easy to grow. Pumpkins are fun aswell ;) also, they make awesome pumpkin soup with chilli. Thats other thing, chilli pepers. Not sure whats the wether like in michigan. I just grow them on window. And many more. Good luck ;) keep us updated on progress.
