HOW TO DEAL WITH DEPRESSION
We all know that depression is one of the popular mental illnesses yet we don’t make any action to prevent or at least to help minimize it.
So fellow steemers, I would like to share to you on how to deal with depression in the part of the person with such mental illness and in the part pf the people in the society.
So how would you deal depression?
Having no appetite, doesn’t want to mingle with other people, always wanted to be alone are only few of the signs of depression.
Well, if you have problems in school, or you just broke up with your long-time boyfriend or you have financial or family problems, whatever you are going through, TALK, SHARE.
One of the methods to help you is to talk your problems out. Talk to your parents, friend, teacher or anyone you are comfortable to share your problems with.
The problem with this is that, as an invidual who is part of the society, we usually don’t want to listen to others but is constantly complaining because “NO WANTS TO HEAR US OUT”. We have this kind of attitude wherein we don’t care about others but we are seeking care from them. We only want to be the one being given attention to. That is the main reason why people only keep their problems to themselves and sometimes will lead to suicide.
These people with depression tend to think that no one cares for them, no one can understand them and we can’t blame them because that is what we probably let them feel.
So please, if we encounter any person, we should be kind and not be rude. Maybe that person is going through something, or maybe that person is suicidal. Instead of pulling them down, we should give a tap on their shoulders and encourage them to talk, to share or just a simple hug will do.
