A CORNERED RAT WILL ALWAYS TRY TO FIND A WAY OUT!

in #life7 years ago (edited)

Despite them being the greatest enermy of every living soul, troubles are always part of life and accepting or denying them won't change their existance. However, what we choose to do with our lives at certain stages usually determine the rate at which troubles and hardships chase or become part of our lives. It can be taken for example, some people can spoil a bright future ahead of them due to peer pressure during their school days hence failing to pursue the track which they were meant for and usually failing to correct those wrongs in time will make them end up being chased by hardships and trouble more often than not!

Sometimes in life the rate at which we face hardships and troubles is determined by those who passed the relay stick to us. Imagine how it feels to carry on a relay competition where the one who is supposed to pass the stick to you is behind with so many metres..hmm it demotivates as well as instilling a mentality of failure in you. In real life, those who lived before us and gave birth to us have a major role in shaping our future! Imagine being brought up in a family where education is considered a secondary issue if not an issue of no concern at all! In other cases, some are even brought up without those to pass the relay stick to them (orphans) and imagine how troubles and hardships rejoice on seeing such a suitable place for permanent residence!

Looking at such a scenario of one who was disadvantaged not to have someone to pass a relay stick to him/her as likely depicted by the image above, it is up to the society to actually look into the situation and come to the rescue or else we will always watch the poverty cycle ballooning on future generations of such individuals. We always wonder or worse at times laugh at their misery when we see kids or even some old people in the streets scavenging for food in some stinking and dirtiest places where we don't even want to look twice and judge them..but do we actually know their story? Only their creator knows!

RECENTLY, i have been following how several youths are coping up with the economic hardships which our country Zimbabwe is going through and i have realised that some of the judgements we pass on youths' behaviour as long as we are not taking tangible measures are far from justifiable despite the badness of the drug and alcohol abuse cases ! Like i indicated above on my title "A CORNERED RAT WILL ALWAYS TRY TO FIND IT'S WAY OUT"..to explain the increase in the rate of drug abuse on our youths, unemployment and lack of opportunities is the major cause and this cannot be denied judging by the rate at which youths are graduating and end up roaming in the streets, taking these substances is being seen as a way of coping up with the current hardships. By taking intoxicating substances, the youths are getting a temporary measure of forgetting about their trouble thus even A CORNERED RAT CAN EVEN TRY TO ENTER THE PURSUER'S TROUSERS in a bid to avoid the trouble it is currently facing.

Dear citizens it is our duty not to cast mere judgements on others but we always need to take action in an way necessary because every action we see today by those who are in trouble is because of different reasons some of which explained above thus need for us to act for the sake of the well-being of humanity so let's join hands especially on our young generation!

In conclusion, the actions we see individuals in trouble taking today are because of certain circumstances which got or are getting out of control thus a cornered rat will be just trying to find a way out!
