Getting ready for planting :: Summer seeds purchased

in #life7 years ago

Last year I was really later in planting - had lettuce for ages and as they started bolting, along came the tomatoes with only a couple of weeks overlap. In summer we have a salad for lunch every day - most of it comes from the veg garden. I don't have much luck with "normal" tomatoes - but do well with cherry varieties. Have some lettuce and cherry tomatoes saved. I also use wild rocket - but these days it pops up all over the place. Have struggled with peppers and aubergines - but want to give them another go. Got some pretty miserable (but usable) sweet peppers last year. Never tried cape gooseberries - but would be nice to have something sweet.

But just looking for variety. Want to start early this year - get seedlings going in August - might actually get some tomatoes seedlings started now. Buy all my seeds through Bidorbuy.co.za through a seller called lavenderhaven - have been happy in the past. All those seeds and postage cost R99 - so around $7.33 including postage.
