WONDERFUL TONIGHT

Today I met some wonderful people in the English corner. One little girl called Isabella shared both her little secrets and food with me. She seemed to like me soon after we met. What a little angel she is with her cheerful nature! The other sweet heart is Esther. She is a Christian who later enlightened me with her words of wisdom. I’m pleased to know that God loves us for we are good and unique as we are in his eyes rather than that we are guilty as human beings and we need God to save our souls. How lucky I am to meet two angels in one day in my life!
Meanwhile I learn a lot from Mr Sunshine. People say that you can never judge a book by its cover. In the beginning I thought he was weird and kind of boring but it turned out that I was totally wrong. In the conversation he told us about his unforgettable travelling experiences, some interesting stories in a movie, an impressive poem he loves and learned from the other English corner and so on. He aslo elaborated on his views about Chinese costumes and Western suits. After this meeting, I kind of admire him.:)
In the end of this wonderful evening, JJ and I walked home together. A mother of two-year-old boy, she works as a guide in Germany town. Besides, she has a soft voice and always wears an intoxicating smile. I was happy to know that we are of the same age.
We all like the host Robert, who is the barista in the café. With that attractive baby face, he is indeed a treat for the eyes. It is he that encouraged me to start wrtiting. Having read some of his blogs on steemit, I felt inspired by both his attitudes towards life and his way of writing.
I will try to find the English version of the poem which Sunny shared. Good night, my beloved friends!

Here goes the poem,
Remember the day I borrowed your brand new car and dented it?
I thought you'd kill me,
but you didn't.
And remember the time I dragged you to the beach,
and you said it would rain,
and it did?I thought you'd say,
"I told you so."
But you didn't.
Do you remember the time I flirted with all the guys to make you jealous,
and you were?
I thought you'd leave,
but you didn't.
Do you remember the time I spilled strawberry pie all over your car rug?
I thought you'd hit me,
but you didn't.
And remember the time I forgot to tell you the dance was formal and you showed up in jeans?
I thought you'd drop me,
but you didn't.
Yes, there were lots of things you didn't do.But you put up with me,
and loved me,
and protected me.
There were lots of things I wanted to make up to you when you returned from Vietnam.
But you didn't.[1]
