I have had that happen to me in neighborhoods that were mainly white in the nineties and even now. Through maturity l have learned to laugh at stupid stuff off. But once in awhile l have to remind myself it's not worth it. The United States was built on racism .
I am documenting my self and reading a lot about the American civil war, also watched some documentaries on it for my new book. The saddest part is that some historians believe that "the south never died"... which is at least disturbing.
