I dunno if I'm shock or what hahaha XD

Anyways, today I'll share some surprising beliefs of Filipinos about weddings and some do's and don't when you're pregnant and such. It might be helpful if you guys are getting ready to build your own family ^^

1. The Wedding gown

It is a well known belief of the Philippine culture that when the bride wears her wedding gown before the wedding, there is a possibility that the wedding will be postponed or worse - the wedding won't take place. Even Granny believes in this thing.

2. When you pick a wedding date, don't pick a date which is the same date with any of your family's birth date.

When you pick your wedding date which is the same date with any birth date in the family, there might be a consequence that the couples will both die in the same day. Pretty scary right? T^T

3. When you're a girl, don't eat twin bananas.

When you're a girl and you love eating twin bananas or any twin fruit, you will most likely gave birth to twins, which is a little bad thing cause giving birth to two babies in the same day is quite tiring and even dangerous in some cases. But if you like to have twins in the near future, then feel free to eat twin bananas. And give it a try? XD

4. Avoid eating chicken tail bone

Girls should not eat chicken tail bone or most commonly known as "isol" in Bisaya, because if you do, you'll be very unfortunate on looking for a partner. It's either he'll leave you for someone else's sake or worse. So basically, you'd be a hopeless romantic.

5. Avoid eating too much fertilized duck egg or "balot" (especially girls)

When girls eat too much fertilized duck egg or "balot" in Bisaya, they will most likely have a hard time giving birth. Granny would always scold me when I try to eat "balot" back then, that's why I haven't eaten a single "balot" for my 18 years of existence. But Granny told me that I'll be able to eat one when I finally get to give birth someday, like Mom.

So I hope this information was a little bit helpful especially to girls hahaha. I'll be writing another article about Philippine superstitions soon... ^0^ This is @lucyheartfilla signing out^^
