Productivity

In this digital age, staying productive is a must. I have compiled a list of tools I personally use to stay on track during stressful times.

Have fun :)

Maximum focus

Brain.FM

Brain.FM is a subscription based AI-generated music service
Price: 10 free sessions - $6.95 / month

Spotify (Focus)

Spotify has a nearly unlimited amount of music from your favorite artists, but did you know they also provide a genre to boost your productivity? The focus genre on spotify is perfect if you want some ambient music.
Price: Free - $9.99 / month

Keep notes

Microsoft OneNote

Microsoft has truly made an amazing note-taking app with OneNote. As part of the Office 365 pack, OneNote is a very valuable resource for writing your thoughts down, and making them searchable and sharable.
Price: $9.99 / month (as part of Office 365)

Evernote

A very promising free alternative to OneNote, Evernote is a very complete cross-platform note-taking app that certainly deserves to be one of your considerations.
Price: Free - $7.99 / month

Communicate with your team

Slack

Slack is an amazing chat app focused on the business sector. It has great support for a vast catalogue of apps that you may already be using, and is ideal for many smaller teams and bigger organisations who pay the extra fees for a bigger server.
Price: Freemium

Discord

A chat service primarily geared towards "gamers", Discord is a serious contender in chat services for teams. Discord and slack have extremely similar layout, and if you can use one you can probably use the other. Many teams and organisations are moving over to discord due to the free nature of server hosting.
Price: Free

Never miss a task

Todoist

A very efficient and simple Todo list app, which allows you to group tasks based on projects and makes it easy to sort through tasks with the help of tags and color coding.
Price: Free - €32 / year

Microsoft To-Do

Free for anyone with a Microsoft account, Microsoft To-Do is a note taking app by the geniuses behind Wunderlist. It features a seamless cross-platform experience with features similar to that of Todoist.
Price: Free

Collaborate and organize

Trello

Trello is a super-flexible Kanban board tool. It features extremely simple team collaboration and integrates with many of the services your team already uses.
Price: Free - $9.99 / user / month

Asana

Asana is a project management tool for teams to use to stay focused on their tasks and objectives. Asana is more advanced and has more features than Trello, but I prefer Trello due to the simple nature.
Price: $11.99 / user / monthly

Password Manager

LastPass

LastPass is personally my favorite password manager of all time. It has amazing integration with various browsers, and has saved me from losing my password for over a year now. LastPass allows you to generate secure passwords on the fly, keep secure notes, and save passwords to websites for quick login.
Price: Free - $2 / month
