All Drugs Should be Legal

I want to discuss drugs and why we should legalize them. Society has a real problem dictating what adults can and cannot do with their own bodies. I think it's high time we allowed grownups to make their own choices and their own mistakes. Drugs aren't going to just disappear by making them illegal. This is just creating a black market, losing out on potential taxes and failing to keep drugs safe and regulated.

If we legalize drugs, we can put age restrictions on them. The age restrictions don't always work but it's better than the system we have currently where all you need to do is find the right drug dealer. We can ensure that people are safe while under the influence, hopefully lessening things such as shared needles but most importantly we can allow people the freedom to choose without fear of a prison sentence just because of their narcotics of choice.
