awesome post my friend!!! I am a banker that try to have this conversation with about 10 people minimum per day!!! Also Banker DO NOT make lots of money but we understand that it is not about the amount the you make but the amount the you keep in the end... people adjust to a higher expending habit if the salary increases but if it happens to decrease the adjustment is extremely HARD to many... my tips are:
make a list of fixed bills, set a budge for emergencies and another for fun money and simple try to stick to it!!!!
Also, sort what you need and what you want... I simple wanted to buy a pack of beer that runs me about $16 per six pack BUT I don't need that (almost) to survive... Another good method is to cut on prices to everything... Let's go back to that pack of beer of $16 all I have to do is look around to find a similar kind for 9... unless its really a celebration try to stick to the rules and DO NOT celebrate too often hahaha it may happen as well...
