woman, empower yourself
Thinking about violence against women is not a new issue, however in recent years it has become a "boom" due to the huge number of cases of deaths caused by domestic violence in all parts of the world. Men believe they have the right to control their lives and to "punish" them when they consider that they are not doing things as they like, but it is not their fault to think that way. It is the fault of society! Yes, it is the society that is in charge of establishing the roles and stereotypes that must be fulfilled because they are inherent to each gender.
Girls are taught that their color is pink, that they must play with dolls, to believe in fairy tales and to plant in them the thought that when they grow up they will be married, they will be mothers and they will be in charge of caring for their family and do household chores; on the other hand, children are taught that they are the strong sex, that men should not cry, that their toys are only action figures and toy cars and also make them see in one way or another that women are in charge to serve them, that men are the ones who work to sustain the home.
It is for all of this that women are seen as vulnerable and weaker sex, however, throughout history, women have fought for their rights to be recognized and at the same time not be harmed, to be seen equally that to the men, and to be able to carry out works and roles that according to the society correspond to them of the masculine gender. Although they have achieved small but significant progress, they must continue to gain territory to achieve the equality that is so desired and for that they must empower themselves, break with all the paradigms imposed by society and cultures, convince ourselves that they are equal as strong as men, believe that they are not weak, that they can achieve everything they set out to, that limits are mental, never be extremists, since they must remember that what they want is equality, that man is not their enemy, but rather his partner and complement.
thanks !
