Swiming- Learn 40 years old-

in #life7 years ago

Hello Happy Day to everyone:

Thanks for reading again and following my stories, in a post at the beginning, I published a story called "It's never too late to learn" but, in Spanish.

Today I continue with the second part, I have 4 years since I got to swim, rather, I learned to swim, as an adult.

I must confess that I found it difficult to learn this sport after adulthood, these things of breathing underwater should be done as children, however, as I did not have the opportunity at that moment of my childhood, I ventured to learn now as a grown-up.

Today I have 4 years training in this discipline, I have gone some masters competitions, although I have not won any medal, and my time is still too slow to win hhahahaha, but it is a challenge that I keep training and surpassing every moment I can go.

I can´t always train, since sometimes there are work meetings or things to solve, however when I can I do it, I try to go twice a week and since it is early I take advantage of the day, my training is at 7 am, SIII DE MADRUGADA hahahaha, although I have a hard time getting ready at that time, since I must be ready and be on the street at 6 am, I make the effort and go, because it is the only way to continue learning again and again, there are days that the training is stronger than other days, and sometimes I feel I can´t continue and would like to get out in the first 200 meters, but then I think if I am here I woke up early and moved to this place, I must continue and meet my time now times an hour and a half of training.

The slogan is to keep learning every day, always, even if one day is not the best, or rather think that day you should not stop, you must follow the day, and resolve things so that tomorrow is better than today, and have more satisfactions .

When I started 4 years ago, I did not think I would learn, I went out frustrated for several days, because I got water through my nose, I did not understand how to breathe, inhaling through the mouth out of the water and down into the water to bounce through the nose little by little, Although it still takes me a bit to maintain the resistance and I blow oxygen very fast, I think that every time I become more aware of doing it better.

As it was difficult and still is, learn a sport like this, with water everywhere, breathing and learning to compensate, in the day to day there are difficult things to solve and sometimes it seems that everything is terrible and there is always a storm. Sun, maybe not that day will come out, nor the next, but soon the sun rises because you learn to solve those situations.
