Fried Bangus marinade with soy sauce and kalamansi.
I just want to share our lunch for today fried Bangus or called MilkFish.
It is a simple dish but has a good nutrition to our body.
Here's how I prepare the dish:
Preparation Time: 30 mins
Cook Time: 10 mins
Serves: 2
Ingredients
1 medium sized Bangus
2 table spoon kalamansi or lemon
125ml (1/2) cup of soy sauce
Ground pepper
1 cup cooking oil for frying
Instructions
- Cut the fish into lengthwise along the back. Spread open to expose the flesh. Remove gills, intestines, and innards.
- Mix soy sauce, kalamansi juice or lemon juice and ground pepper in a bowl. Stir.
- Lay fish flat on a deep wide plate, the meat part is facing down (skin should face up). pour-in the mixture then cover. Marinate for 1 hour to midnight.
- Heat oil in a large pan in medium-high heat.
- Fried both side of the Bangus until it becomes medium brown in color. Be sure to cover the pan to avoid the splatter of the oil.
- Then for the side dish as shown in the picture, chop 2 pcs tomatoes into small square pieces. Mix with 2 table spoon soy sauce, 1 table spoon oyster sauce, 1 table spoon of kalamansi.
- Ready to serve and enjoy!!!
