Here's how I prepare the dish:
Preparation Time: 30 mins
Cook Time: 10 mins
Serves: 2

Ingredients
1 medium sized Bangus
2 table spoon kalamansi or lemon
125ml (1/2) cup of soy sauce
Ground pepper
1 cup cooking oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Cut the fish into lengthwise along the back. Spread open to expose the flesh. Remove gills, intestines, and innards.
  2. Mix soy sauce, kalamansi juice or lemon juice and ground pepper in a bowl. Stir.
  3. Lay fish flat on a deep wide plate, the meat part is facing down (skin should face up). pour-in the mixture then cover. Marinate for 1 hour to midnight.
  4. Heat oil in a large pan in medium-high heat.
  5. Fried both side of the Bangus until it becomes medium brown in color. Be sure to cover the pan to avoid the splatter of the oil.
  6. Then for the side dish as shown in the picture, chop 2 pcs tomatoes into small square pieces. Mix with 2 table spoon soy sauce, 1 table spoon oyster sauce, 1 table spoon of kalamansi.
  7. Ready to serve and enjoy!!!
