School Bus Spooky Stories

Kids are so fresh these days... and some parents talk too much.

My 6 yo takes the school bus to and fro to school 5 days a week. She does a lot of chit chatting with the bigger kids and relays the topics of conversation to me once she reaches home. For no other reason than to ask me if what these chittering girls say is true.

This morning she asks me: "So and so said if you don't believe in Jesus he will throw you in a lake of Lava."... then no more than an hour later she says: "So and So told me about a guy named Jeffrey who lived in Queens. He ate people but he's in jail now. So and So said he's a cannible who ate 5 people!"

It seems it's always the same kids who come up with these intense stories- these are six year olds... I'm wondering what kind of info these parents are allowing the kids to absorb for them to be talking about this intense stuff. Curiouser and Curiouser.
