Lies, Lies, Lies...

If this weren't all so pathetic, it would all be too hilarious.

It seems that Katrina Pierson, one of Trump's mouthpieces during his 2016 Presidential campaign, was asked if Omarosa's revelations about Trump's use of racial vulgarities was true, at least to her knowlege. Even though Omarosa had claimed that she and Katrina had had several conversations about Trump's use of the "N-word" and how to spin it, Katrina assured America that Omarosa was wrong. Not only has Trump never said such things, Katrina insisted, but the conversations Omarosa claims to have had with Katrina never happened. Nope. Not once.

Then Omarosa released a tape of a conversation with Katrina wherein Katrina admitted that she had heard Trump use the term and suggested ways on how they might spin it to make it a good thing. Huh.

I imagine Katrina's next interview will go something like this:

"So, here's the thing. I lied yesterday when I said that those conversations never happened only because I didn't believe there were tapes of my having those conversations. You can believe me on that. But now that those tapes have been revealed, I can say that I lied on those tapes only to move things along and make people happy. Never before that, or since, have I or anyone in the Trump administration ever lied about anything, as we don't care about making people happy or moving things along. I can, with no hesitation, assure you that we have made no lies, other than those on the tape that Omarosa so dishonestly recorded... unless there are more tapes of us lying in a dishonest manner. If and when those tapes are revealed, we will provide honest and true explanations for why we lied, but only in the pursuit of truth, I can promise you that. Honest. Trust me. So help me god."

Honestly. You couldn't write what has become our reality.
