TAKE HIKMAH FROM THE STORY OF ARWANA FISH .... Bismillah .. Somewhere when a big Arowana fish finds itself in a large aquarium with a lively golden fish. Without waiting for time and hesitation, Arowana rushes to jump to prey on the little fish. But what happened? The little fish is not touched at all and remains free to swim to and fro. Eh ... It turns out that arowana instead found a soft cushioned meat but bumped against a solid barrier made of glass. In the aquarium, it was deliberately installed a transparent insulation so that Arowana can not prey on that small fish. Every time arowars jump and try to hunt, many times also heads hit the glass sealant. For days the hunting effort was done, all failed and in vain. After a few weeks, the glass is removed and what happens? The Arowana no longer has the desire to prey on the little fish, even though she swims here and there. Arowana was not aware that the barrier was not there. Even Arowana does not try to jump even higher to surpass the seal. He still believes that the insulating glass is still attached. What is in the mind of Arowana is failure and pain when it will move near the small fish. Arwana never thought that change had taken place, the barrier between himself and the little fish had been lost. Learning from the story, sometimes we often encounter the same thing experienced by most of our society who tend to be pessimistic in the future, fearful of challenges, easy to despair in navigating the waves and fierce life. Sometimes we are shocked and shocked by the changing era that is more modern and full of competition. After the economic crisis hit and multi-dimensional. The sense of optimism for progress and development in society has faded, in addition to the lack of human resources, also due to negative perspectives built by the media (television, newspapers, radio). The media tend to expose problems rather than positive attitudes. If this condition is not immediately stopped, do not blame if the behavior of most of our society will be like the story of Arowana fish above. Because our behavior is strongly influenced by the image of our thinking. To change that attitude, we should remain confident, we are confident and can change the future, we are able to do as others do, not shackled by the shadow and pessimistic excessive like the image of Arowana fish above. It is not Allah Subhanallahu wa ta'ala forbids us to despair, for only those who disbelieve and kufr are easily despair of His mercy. Self-nurturing, continuous and consistent self-improvement (istiqomah) without boredom and excitement that is able to change and make changes to the future. Eliminate unpredictable false shadows, confident fertilizers, face upright challenges without backing down, once stepping the legs toward the desired goals and ideals as long as justified by Syar'i .... Raise the spirit: "If they can, why do not we ... anyway equally creatures of God also ...... "Keep the spirit of living ..... do not follow the despair as well as Arwana fish are pessimistic and regret the failure.
