THE BEAST
THE BEAST
There is a beast in all of us
Waiting at the door.
Open it just a crack – stand back,
It’s out with a roar!
It wants to roll the fat on its tongue,
To chew crispies,
Suck on the sweet,
Rest in fullness, sleep.
Mine got out yesterday,
Bought ice cream at the store,
Ate a pint, wanted more.
No matter what our size may be,
The beast’s about, take it from me!

Beautiful lines love to read it.
Thank you!
Nice word
So true. I know mine exists. When it's out...chocolate chip cookies run for dear life!
