Let us walk through around the world -Part55-Hostel Economic Design with Flexible Space
gni
The relatively small Hostel design requires a flexible plan, with associated and multi-housed spaces. The project design approach has been to repair and add to the size of the space structure. For this reason, the original structure of the building was first maintained, and then all architectural applications were embedded in space. After reviewing the materials and structures of the building, all wooden walls were removed, and after the repair and painting were used to cover the interior spaces. These details and maintaining the structure are included in the project windows, and only new glass for windows is purchased.
The Hostel plan, due to its flexible spatial relationship, includes a relaxing environment with decor and unmatched furniture. Therefore, in order to control and better manage the space, the building consists of a 4-bed and 6-bed dormitory on the ground floor, which is specially for women and has shared bathrooms and toiletries. Then there are two beds for three people, a four-person bed and a six-person bed on the first and second floors for men. The interior decoration design is modular in order to keep users' functionality and accessibility as much as possible. For example, a bed or work desk and a shelf are combined, and the beds are separated by thin curtains to provide a little privacy for users.
The living and dining halls are an interesting and intelligent combination space that uses lace-fitting furniture and its entrance is covered with customizable curtains. Users can use this space in any way that they are comfortable. For example, lying down on a springboard or sitting on the ground allows you to feel comfortable inside your home. The smaller Hostel building consists of two private rooms and three bathrooms on the ground floor, which is located next to 3 private rooms and has a terraced recreation area at a higher level.
