What are the main pillars of Shahada (La Ilaha Illallah)?
Most of us follow a religion and consider it as a religion for us because we were born in a family following that religion. Of them, very few people actually know the rules and regulations of the religion. There is no execption for us, Muslim. We claim to be Muslim, yet we have a little knowledge about our religion. Hence, we can’t follow it fully. We make many mistakes in our daily life due to not having a proper knowledge about our religion. Saying Shahada (La Ilaha Illallah) is one of the 5 pillars of Islam. But how many of us know that Shahada has its own pillars too! Without these pillars, our claims are just null and void! Let us know about it from this video lecture from Ustab Mohamad Baajour, from his “Just a reminder” series.
In this video, he informed us that the Shahada has two pillars:
Rejecting all Tagut, and
Believing in Allah and His messenger
We all know, more or less, about believing in Allah and His messenger Mohammad (PBUH). But, do we know that without rejecting all the Tagut, believing it won’t be of that much help? Please watch this video to know “what is Tagut” and “the importance of rejecting all the Tagut”.
May Allah Guide us to His right path. Amin.
