@maryfavour, you have said it all, patient they said it a virtue, to me, patient is a sign and proof for maturity and it's a profitable attitude one should imbibe.
via patient, ABRAHAM was name the father of faith because he was able to wait for the LORD'S appointed time.
via patient, sarah's name was changed from a barren woman to a fruitful woman.
_THE LONG PATIENT OF THE LORD IS NOT ABANDONMENT' SO ESTABLISH A PATIENT MENTALITY AND WAIT FOR THE LORD IN PATIENT AND YOU SHALL NEVER BE DISAPPOINTED.
thanks for sharing madam
I love your analysis especially the fact that you use biblical terms to explain patience. I think Abraham and Sarah are complete description of patience in the bible.
Very good submission, @mike4christ. I like the quote
Yes, patience is a sign and proof of maturity. I only wish that many knew this. In the face of great challenges and temptations, many who go to church to hear God's word, fail woefully the test of patience to prove their spiritual maturity like Abraham & Sarah in the Bible. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
madam, it takes a practicing christian who has laid a strong foundation in the word of GOD to exercise patient in in the mist of challenges because a christian in words who doesn't have strong faith in the word of GOD will never remember to apply patient but will rather jump into action and fail wovely, but a practicing christian will made use of the tools: STOP.
S-stop
T-think
O-observe and
P-proceed.
