Here Today, Gone Tomorrow

in #life7 years ago

We live in a Here Today, Gone Tomorrow World. Most of us live in a fast pace world. It doesn't seem that way when it's the same routine day in a day out. When you notice the here today, gone tomorrow it's usually when someone is gone forever. But if you slow down and think you'll see a bigger picture of it.

I'm talking to my Cousin on facebook after I posted a picture of my car I had in High School. We had the nicest ones in School. He Won his car in a contest which was Awesome. 1 week later he was gone due to CANCER.

I was having a great day. Went out to eat with my Girlfriend, she won $762 dollars at the Casino. Went to the Shooting range with my Dad. When I was at the shooting range I missed a call, he left a message. The message said I was going to tell you Yesterday, but I got so busy. I got a great job offer and i just landed in California.  Not the typical but it's still here today gone tomorrow.

January I had Sepsis which is a Severe Blood Infection that can cause your organs to shut down. Plus I had Pneumonia in both lungs. I was in the Hospital and had a 70% chance of not making it. 7 People came to visit me. They all new it was bad you can see it in their face. 5 of the 7 came multiple times. One of the 7 lost a friend to Sepsis one month before. How I made it 3 reasons.

1) I wanted to get the hell out of the Hospital and eat a PIZZA.

2) I wanted to see my Dogs, one dog is 12 years old and my Girlfriend said the dog is not doing good. It wasn't eating, drinking or peeing.

The third reason is my GF has Lyme Disease and has been fighting it for four years. She hasn't worked in three years and the LD is getting worse. If I didn't make it she would be much worse. Maybe Homeless.

Last night I was doing a Comedy Show with some friends I also write for. One of them I've known since I started doing comedy in 2009 who took my Stand Up Comedy Class also in 2009, told me after the show he was moving to Alaska. I said when

 he said Tomorrow.
