WHAT IS YOUR LIFE PURPOSE?

Everything in life has a purpose, so you too have a purpose. There is a reason for your life. The most important thing for us as humans and for anyone to do in life is to discover and fulfil the purpose for our lives as individuals.

Imagine you having a fan in your room that is not working. You would constantly feel heat in that room and so the fan would become useless in life. Many people are useless in life because they are not fulfilling the purpose for their lives.

To fulfil your purpose in life, you must start by asking yourself certain questions, seek out the right answers, and take certain steps that will make you fulfil the reason why you exist in this world and not be a useless fan in life and where you are.

Let us together begin asking these right questions, seeking the needed answers and finding the right answers that will help you discover the purpose for your existence on earth and make you to know why you were born and what you are meant to be and do in this world. We shall begin by asking…

WHAT IS PURPOSE?

• Purpose is the reason for something.

• It is the reason why something was made.

• It is the reason for which something exists.

• It is the intension behind an action.

• Your life purpose is the reason for your life.

• It is the reason why you exist on earth.

• It is God’s intension behind your creation.

• It is the reason why God made you and sent you into this world.

• In other words, your life purpose is what you are meant to be and do in this world.

FOR EXAMPLE

Every manufacturer has a specific purpose for his products.

Every purchaser of those products must follow the manufacturer’s intended purpose in using the product.

You cannot say because you used your money to buy a microphone, then it must serve the purpose of a drum.

It cannot, because that was not the intension of the manufacturer of the product.

So, everyone who purchases any product must use the product according to the purpose and dictates of the producer of such product.

FULFIL THE PURPOSE

• Likewise, you as God’s Product must live and use your life to fulfill the purpose and achieve the vision of God, the Manufacturer of your life.

*. You must live your life according to His purpose for you.

• You must live to fulfil the reason why He made you and sent you into this world.

• You must carry out on earth God’s plan and intension for your existence.

However, some products intended for a particular purpose might also be able to perform some other functions not originally intended by the producer.

• For instance, a microphone could make sound when you hit it.

• But the fact that a microphone produces sound when you hit it does not mean it was created to be beaten like a drum.

• If you do this, you would not only be preventing the microphone from accomplishing its purpose, but you would also be destroying it and eventually make it useless.

• Its original purpose is to amplify people’s voices so they could be heard louder and clearer while speaking.

FOLLOW THE PURPOSE

Therefore, the fact that you could do certain things does not mean you should do just anything. There are things you might do that would damage your life and destroy you at the end even though they produce results and make you happy for a time.There is a screen printer’s tool called mesh, it looks like a drum, and it could produce some sound when beaten. But it was created to be used in printing, not beaten as a drum.

Also, it is not as strong nor does it have the capacity to withstand pressure like a drum. So if you see it and think it is a drum, and start drumming it, you would tear and destroy it. You would render it useless and unable to fulfil its purpose for existence. Similarly, in order for you not to end up like a microphone or a mesh that is used as a drum, you must do something.

You must discover your original purpose for life and follow it in your life. This is what brings you constant happiness and fulfilment in life. Doing something else might make you happy for a time but the happiness might not last long. And you might be happy and yet not be fulfilled in life as a person. Because consistent happiness and permanent fulfilment only comes from you doing what you were created to do in life.
