Forced Vaccinations.....

I have been wanting to make a post regarding the topic of forced vaccinations and really get peoples opinions on this because many forums act as an echo chamber that repeatedly say that this is a good thing, i see that people herald this as progressive but i feel that people are literally celebrating the erosion of their personal freedoms.
I recently read an article about Australia's so called 'No jab no play' laws by the Telegraph which basically states that any child that is not vaccinated will be banned from attending school and their parents will not be allowed to benefit from state welfare, this pretty much is a threat to throw any one remotely concerned about the safety of vaccines in to a life of poverty and what makes this worse is the talk of the ties that the Australian prime minister Malcolm Turnbull has with big pharmaceutical companies.

I would really like to hear what peoples opinions are with forced vaccination and vaccines as a whole so please leave a comment.

Thanks for reading and if you found this interesting consider upvoting, following and resteeming.

I have a hard time believing anything that Big Pharma controls. In this info war, there is lots of evidence to back up both sides. I also think that if vaccinations were 100 percent effective with no side effects, more people would get them. They should also eliminate the triple vaccine shot, and let people be able to chose one, or all 3.

I agree big pharma has done a lot to damage their own reputation, also the ability for people to choose is essential. Thanks for commenting @princeofcats

Thanks for trying to get a discussion going. It's overwhelming to hear such polar arguments. I can honestly see why people think it should be forced, if they do it to their own kids....but I don't think many can see it from the other view -that big pharma has there hands out and pockets open.

Freedom to choose is a great thing, if your choice has no effect on others around you. In an ideal world everyone whose choices effect others, would do a thorough due diligence before making that choice. But in reality, most of us make choices based on incomplete information and half baked theories. So I feel, that for greater good there are certain choices that we should leave to those who actually know what they are talking about. The cynicism against big pharma is not misplaced, but for all their flaws, maybe this time they got it right.

Perhaps, but some of us could die from vaccines. Like me. It is not a question of people who know best. I know my body best and I have cured ailments, injuries and mental illness without the use of any drug. I have always and only used herbal products and food to heal my body. It is tricks centuries old. Perhaps there are those whom you speak of you cannot inform themselves or unable to be educated enough in natural medicine or do not trust their bodies enough to know what they need to take, and for them, I agree, they need guidance, but there still needs to be the freedom to choose and nothing of this sort should be imposed on anyone.

Thanks for your input @fuchsia.ink i think it is important to open up the floor for discussion and that is what you have done, as i mentioned i feel it is wrong to force anything on to anyone and sets a disturbing precedence.

Vaccines definitely are not "good". In some circumstances one could indeed say they are necessary, but definitely not overall. I've been looking into this for some years now and whenever this debate turns factual, the vaccine supporters lose. Their arguments tend to be hypothetic.
On top of that, in the US they wont even publicly release the research directly comparing the vaccinated vs the unvaccinated smh

Yes i absolutely agree a lot of the so-called facts are hypothetical and born out of pseudoscience much like climate change and not releasing research papers should ring alarm bells, thanks for commenting @opinizeunltd

Health care is very fundamental. We must have the right to choose. It goes back to people believes and there truth. With all the research and information available parents are making inform decision. Some states are giving people the choice to terminate life due to illnesses, make marijuana legal and take the parents right to make inform decision for there fam. Each one of these topics comes back to money. The right to choose matters, on all aspects of life.
Thanks for bringing this topic.

There is a very cogent reason for forcing everyone to get vaccinated and that is, building what is known as "herd immunity". Only when a high percentage of the population is protected through vaccination against a virus or bacteria, it makes it difficult for a disease to spread because there are so few susceptible people left to infect.

That is how polio was combatted in India and even the most illiterate person here knows the importance of getting the required vaccines, on time. Let me explain, say I contracted the polio virus somehow, and while being sick I met a 100 people, chances are that 99 of them are already vaccinated. That means, at most 1 other person can fall sick because of me and the disease eventually will die, because that person may not come in contact with any more unvaccinated persons. Now if the polio vaccination was a choice, let's assume 40 of them chose not to get vaccinated. I can now infect 40 more people, who will further infect more people like them.

If the herd immunity goes down, epidemics become a very real possibility. And social responsibility demands us to get our required inoculations on time, to protect those around us, who for legitimate reasons cannot get vaccinated, like newborns, or those with compromised immune systems.

Vaccines save lives, and that is a fact. So please get your kids inoculated, if not for yourself, then for those who will come into his life.

Thanks for the comment @fuchsia.ink i understand the logic you are putting forward BUT i believe it is wrong to force people to vaccinate there was an interesting video i watched a long time ago now about how the process of diagnosing polio changed which then went on to the number of cases falling dramatically i can't seem to find it now but if/when i do i will post it here as a reply i am interested to hear your opinion of it. 👍

How can it help herd immunity if such an imposed vaccine can kill a person? I will not let anyone inject me with anything that could kill me. And vaccines and prescription drugs can kill me. My children will have my genes and DNA. We need to have the freedom to choose what we put inside our bodies. When you take away that freedom, you then change from democracy to a dictatorship.

That's horrible. No one is forcing me or my child to get vaccinated. I am allergic to the ingredients found within vaccines and chances are, my future children will also get severely ill from vaccines. We don'T know what else they put in it, they do not let us see all the ingredients. Freedom to choose means freedom to choose what we inject in our bodies and a baby and child under our care, we choose for them to our best judgement based on our bodies because they have our DNA and genes. This is appalling news!!

It's good to hear your perspective on this if you look at the article i linked in "safety of vaccines" there is a severe case of a young girl reacting badly to a vaccine that big pharma took responsibility for and ended up paying compensation to the family. Thanks for commenting @binkyprod 👍

I agree that there are many cogent reasons like allergies, or weakened immune systems, or even renal failure that may prevent a person from getting innoculized. But no one is forcing those falling under medical exceptions.

Since you live in Australia, I do not know what is your recourse against tyranny. In the U.S., one simply submits an exemption. I know because I have written them for folks. I go the easy route with Spiritual Exemptions. Even more defining is the Supreme Court ruling of Roe vs. Wade. One simply applies the concept of: Keep Your State Off Of My Body.
