THIS IS WHY I WRITE EVEN THOUGH YOU MAY NEVER SEE IT ON MY FACE

When I write about my pains and poems riddled with depressing lines, it is not because I want your pity or to be noticed, it is because in writing about these pains and expressing them, I somewhat pull through them.

People say I feel too much and that is why I am very expressive about my pains or failures, that may be true, but that is not totally why I write. I do because writing gives my pain words, gives it a definite form, and puts it out there, a little away from me.

We hurt more when there's no one to share our brokenness with. We get more broken when we have to put up a cheerful disposition, when we try so hard to not let a tear or howl escape our mouth.

The burden of a hurt, pain, failure or heartbreak does not lie in the pain itself but in the weight of having to bear it all alone, appearing strong, locked away from any support system while we're driven to irreparable ends by the knack that eats deep into our soul.

This is why I write, even though you may never see it on my face or my countenance. Even though I may never ring you up and cry. This pain becomes words shrouded in deep metaphors and subtle lines, and not my thoughts and worries.

Whatever you do, don't take it all in. Give your pain some form, channel it somewhere.

Sing about it.
Paint about it.
Write about it.
Cry.
Talk.
Dance.

Whatever you do, don't take it all in. By all means, express it. If all ears fail, the walls would hear you. You're never alone.

Writing is a good therapy to most people including me. If you are going through something put it into writing and I can assure you that you will surely get relief

You are very correct

Yes ,often we have to channel our energy into ink and paper. It helps me often as a therapy.

It helps me too.
