My One Day Holiday
This year our Independence Day fell on a Wednesday.... talk about being hard to enjoy and celebrate when you work the day before and the day after! No bueno!
But, I made the most of it!! I was able to leave early on Tuesday and get lunch with a work vendor, which is always nice. Good food, good wine and then we walked to the river and had this lovely view and another glass of wine on the riverwalk.
Then on Wednesday, I celebrated my friend who had a birthday on Tuesday. We were at a friends pool and made her wear a sombrero.
Then the hubby and myself went to a pool at a gym I belong to! Adults only and it has a bar. Perfect combo! We always feel like we're on vacation at this pool!
And now.... back at work.
