How to become emotionally independent
This blog is a continuation of my previous blog. In my last blog I talked about finding true happiness. And in this blog I want to point out the benefits of being alone.
The first thing that I've noticed is that once you take a break from people you have more time. Time to explore new things, to find new hobbies, time to learn about yourself. No one can influence your decisions so you get the freedom to choose whatever you want. This lets you see what you truly want to do in life.
Another thing (the obvious one) is that no one can hurt you. People can be really mean, this is a fact. Your expectations are bigger when it comes to people you love. And when they let you down it's more painful. People also like to stab you in the back. And without people around you can avoid all this useless problems.
The third thing is that you become stronger. When you stop being attached to someone you can value yourself more. You stop being scared to loose people all the time. And this lets you stand up for yourself. You also learn to do everything by yourself so you become independent.
When you achieve all these things being connected with people isn't a struggle anymore. People come and go, no one should ever forget that. Good luck!
