The activities of coconut traders in my village
Tonight I went out to a coffee shop in my village, I left home at 7:30 pm. In addition to the coffee shop that I visited there is a warehouse of coconut farmers who are doing its activities that is selling his head to other traders on a large scale.
Coconut farmers have a very large garden, because since the first part of the population in my village has a vast coconut plantation. The coconut tree, dubbed the tree of life, grows heavily in my village. Tonight is the time of harvesting, usually coconut tree can be harvested 3 months.
Tonight this massive harvest is done by selling it to the merchant. The number of coconuts in the count one by one is very much, one car is full of harvest.
When I got there, I was interested to see and photographed it because of the huge coconut fruit.
Coconuts sold at various prices, young coconuts sold at Rp. 2.000 per fruit and old coconut with price Rp. 1,000 per piece. In one coconut tree can produce fruit of approximately 20 to 30. In one harvest usually up to 4 million rupiah. Coconut farmers are very much to achieve for the results of his work to take care of coconut.
After watching the process, I went back to the coffee shop to have coffee with the villagers. Watching tv and talking conversations that are not topics like the usual coffee shop chat.
