Here are some sculptures that were made 2,000 years ago in a prehispanic civilization in Mexico.

This sculptures were found in a small town in Colima Mexico by a famous artist of Mexico, Alejando Rangel Hidalgo.

The dog sculptures are of a Xoloitzcuintle, Its Native of Mexico this dog in that times were considered sacred animals because that civilization be alive this dogs guide to the soul on its journey to the underworld. These dogs were considered a great delicacy, and were consumed for sacrificial ceremonies including marriages and funerals. Sculptures of this dog have been found in tombs of different Mexican cultures like the Aztec, Mayan, Toltec, Zapotec.
