My next car - You help me choose

I'm on the look out for a new car. I'm no crypto millionaire but have made enough for me to buy a modest car for me and my family.... so no Lambos yet.

So basic requirements
big enough for wife, 2 young kids and me. Needs to accommodate a buggy/push chair. And nothing too big as it wont fit on my drive or British roads.

My wife drives a Nissan Qashqai which I really like, but i'd like a bit more luxury. SUV or Saloon. I don't like hatch backs or estate cars. I know a lot of you will scream Tesla, and yes I'd dearly love one. However, its not a viable option for me at the moment. In 2 years, definitely!

So I started looking at the market and there is just too many to choose from. For e.g. take a basic Audi A4, there about 10 different configurations let alone the additional extras.
