ELECTION OR WAR
General elections will be coming up again in my country in 2019, but my fear is that it will be marred by violence as it has always been. Politicians are desperate to get to power and they are ready to do anything to remain there. As we speak drums of war is beating already and the gladiators are ready with there swords and spears to kill and to maim. I cant but help to ask is this an election or are we in a war.
This the pictures of the just concluded elections in one of the states in my country.
Election should not be a do or die affair if you believe you are good enough go to the poll and test your popularity not to use hoodlums and security official to intimidate people, preventing them from exercising their franchise.
In some cases when defeated rather than go to court to contest the result they incite youth to unleash violence on people destroying and killing innocent souls.
This exactly what we see each time there an election of any kind in my country. Please judge for yourselves if its an election or a war? Probably it may be the same situation in your country share and let me know. Dont forget to upvote me.
