Hey fitness and travel lovers, it’s me, Notyourgirl!

As you know I finished school last year and I’m now facing the problem of what to do with my life.
I hope due to this post some of you can help me getting more informed about future jobs I’m interested in. Maybe some people can share their experiences and their knowledge to me.

The last three years I was totally sure to study medicine and to become a doctor. I also did a few internships at the surgery to see what it looks like to become a doctor.
The point why I’m not into it any more are not the 24h working days and not the long study but the fact that I do not think that I’m the person who can handle such a big amount of stress. I promised myself to not overwork myself and to decide on a job where I do not get a burnout with 25.

Now I’m searching for other opinions and hoping that someone doing these jobs can give me some detail about how their work look like.
Maybe someone can tell me about:

Nutritional Science, Geologist, Agricultural Science and Teacher.

I tried to get an internship at some nutritional science companies like Glanbia and Nestle but they both said no. I already read a lot about the jobs on the internet but I just want the hear the experiences of someone working in this job.

Is it very stressful? Do you always do the same? Is it easy to get a job at research centers?
The same questions to people working as geologist.

And for the teachers: I know it’s obvious how the working day of a teacher looks like but how does the home working part looks like? Is there much to do? How long do you prepare for classes?
My thoughts about becoming a teacher are that sadly I do not really work with the stuff I have learned. Geologist, Biologist are much more into the theme and really “use” their knowledge like for researches. If any teacher is reading this: what do you think about my thoughts? Are they justified or do you have other experiences?

I really really hope that someone is answering to my questions. Please feel free to share any little experience no matter how little they are.
And maybe someone has another hint for me what I can study.

My interests: traveling, sports, healthy nutrition, nature, hiking, NGO's & improving the world (child aid, agricultural aid, catastrophe aid)

My job interests: geology & agriculture (seismology); medicine & the human body & its processes

My wishes: a job with variety - bit of computer work and a lot of “doing” something (being outside, treat patients,...)
