How to overcome stagnation

in #life7 years ago

What's up Steemsters!

Have you ever been stuck in a zone of stagnation - unable to do anything, feeling utterly useless?

I have, and you have. It's normal.

What I do to relieve myself of this, is do the One Thing, that by having it done, everything else seems easy or easier in comparison. It's helped me tremendously in coping with the feeling of stagnation and procastrination, if you will. I found this solution in Gary Keller's book, fittingly named The One Thing.

This one thing can vary. For you it could be just doing the laundry, taking a shower, writing 2 pages for your blog and/or article, answering 5 support emails....It is whatever, currently, seems the largest obstacle in your way. Even if you have a to-do list of 3 or more things - surely you have one that you would rate more important than others. It's magic - simply go do that one thing, and everything else will seem much easier. It's all about perspective. Plus - by having that one thing done - you will be fully fuelled to go work on the lesser things, that are still in line to get done.

Keep this in mind, and happy steeming, fellow steemers!

Now go do your One Thing!!

Hello Friend. Let me see if I understood correctly. The question is to do one thing at a time? I am right?

That's correct, Kelvo.

One Thing at a time, and give your full attention to that one thing - and forget about the other things on your to do list.

Do that One Thing that seems the hardest, and do it good. See how easy everything else will become after!

Perfect, bro! <3
