Life, Death, and Springtime
Springtime has finally found its way to Michigan. Although we have a few days coming up with a low of 30, those will be less frequent as the warm days increase. Yes Spring is in the air, and we are not looking back!
Of course Spring brings to mind the thoughts of the circle of life. The old passes away and the new burst forth onto the scene. At first just bits and pieces, first here then there, yet accelerating all the while.
The virus this year accentuates the lesson. The lesson being that life is fragile and a gift. Here one moment, gone the next. Make the most of today, for there is no guarantee of tomorrow.
And so we do try to make the best of it, living under lock down. I took this photo just now to brag about braving the painfully cold water to get in two pieces of dock as well as the paddleboat and ski.
Yet as I was taking that photo, I hear a boat coming....lo and behold he is pulling a tuber!!!!! OMG! That water is cold! Cold like if you are ankle deep your toes are screaming after five minutes!
The dude was really playing hard as well. Getting air and here you can make out the tube is on its side! YIKES! So here is yet another lesson of life, there is always someone tougher LOL...
Well I got my toes wet anyways..
Happy Hump Day
