THE HUMAN RACE #001 ... DO WE ALL THINK THE SAME WAY?

I’ve been thinking; thinking about life, its challenges, fulfillment, accomplishments, and the greater good of every human and I realized that all depends on attitude, reputation, geographical location, and most importantly, adaptation or change. I however think that change, whether in attitude, reputation, location, or adaptation, should be considered whenever necessary for the betterment of all.

My main focus today is how we can also change the world and make it work in our favor. This of course doesn’t have to be one man’s effort it has to be all of us, Black and White, making sure that wherever we go we are not just representing ourselves but we’re representing a race of people with a common goal of impacting a change to our world.

We also have to remember that we have a responsibly to our community and family which means that it’s not all about us. There are more accomplishments and fulfillment in helping others achieve their dreams than focusing ONLY on our own achievement. That being said, if you think you’re not smart be smart, if you think you can’t plan please do and work extra hard because we’re not just doing it for yourselves but you doing it to erase some discrimination and perception of others about who we truly are and proving to the whole world that you are capable. People will hear about you, you will be featured in most media stations and people will work hard just to be like you. The thing is, You will never be alone and surfer loneliness; you can have your privacy as and when you wish and people might line up in front of your house, on the road just to see you. What achievement is more than these?

We have to start to think beyond our own dreams and start thinking about making a significant contribution to our world. It is more than building a house, eating good food, and wearing good cloths. It is how we going to leave a legacy that the world will remember way after we’ve gone. I believe our generation can make a significant contribution. We can compete with the rest of the world and we can hold our heads very high.

For those here on STEEMIT, who dream big dreams, our dreams will be challenged, our dreams will come against obstacles, some of the obstacle will be obstacles in our society, sometimes it will be people who we know fighting us, sometimes it will be the whole system fighting us but if we believe in our dreams and well enough, we must push it and make it work. So that someday when we read about great people we will not just talk about Bill Gates and Steve Jobs; the world will talk about you too and me too but that journey has to be traveled intentionally, we have to choose to go that journey and we have to put in a lot of work; a lot of work. And if we are able to do that we can build that future that we desire.

After all, a lot depends on reputation – Guard it with your life!
