TAKE SOME TIME OFF.
During my readings today, I came across a quotation attributed to Helen Mirren.
Dame Helen Mirren (born 26 July 1945) is an English actress. She is known for roles such as The Queen, Prime Suspect, Calender Girls, Elizabeth I, The Last Station and RED. Helen once said:
I have never in my life found myself in a situation where I've stopped work and said, 'Thank God it's Friday.' But weekends are special even if your schedule is all over the place. Something tells you the weekend has arrived and you can indulge yourself a bit.
This text reminded me of how crucial it is for us to sometimes take 'a me time'. While it is true that hard work and perseverance are key to the success of every individual, a break is equally important in maintaining a sound and health mind and body. One of the key attributes machines and humans have in common is that, we all have limitations, if we are overworked, we brake down. We all have that elastic limit beyond which we are unable to intrinsically return to our normal state, unless of course with some help.
Studies have shown that an average of 8 hours of sleep is required by the adult body for perfect functioning. When people do not get enough sleep, their immune systems begin to fall and they become more susceptible to diseases. However, I do agree that an average adult will not be able to sleep this much in reality, especially if they are employed by another person. Our dreams, our desires, our ambitions and our responsibilities do not allow us to sleep for 8 hours. If you do not work hard enough, chances are you will not be able to feed your family.
But even with the reality on the ground, breaks are still very essential to our well being. After all, it is a healthy mind and body that does great jobs. Besides, you need to be alive and well in order to take care of your family. Every now and then, let's take some time off, let's give our bodies the chance to recover from all the stress we have subjected it to. Let's have a good time with our friends and family or even by ourselves if that makes it better for us.

Revitalizing the body to regain it strength after a hard work is very important.
The only way to do this is by taking a day or some days off for relaxation
to release the stress off. Relation is very good for human body. @osmansnr.
Exactly, the body needs time to replenish the lost energy.
I second that. Couldn't agree more.
That's right, sometimes you just have to pamper yourself. You have been tagged @steembloggers 30 day tag challenge.

Well, I just found the right post at the right time since I am on my break from work for a while after 2 years of hard work and it feels like I am regaining my energy for the better now. I had never taken a day off in the last couple of years in my entrepreneurship journey and it did prove that the hard work was worth but yes sometimes it's much needed to take a break to gain a new and better perspective to everything in life.
Heard by someone I don't remember actually but yes I completely agree with it, "Work is must but health comes first."
